HAPPY HOLIDAYS, CARTER!

Greetings from your Secret Santa! No, it is not George Washington although he is a dear friend of mine. Sometime tomorrow, you should receive your gift via Amazon. I decided to bust the budget on one item, but with that there is the obvious risk that (1) you already have it, (2) you have no idea what it is and don’t want to figure it out, or (3) you might have preferred something else that better aligns with your interests. With that, I wanted to share with you the things that this gift is NOT just in case you would like to make an exchange for something more to your liking. No hard feelings here — you should be happy! See what you think. In any event, I hope you enjoy whatever you choose and that you continue to follow your passions and thirst for growth in 2021.
Backup Gifts You Could Choose to Redeem (or Get For Yourself!)
Here were a few ideas to stroke your hip hop, Virginia Tech, music production, step challenge domination, and general guy interests. Oh, and in case you notice, there isn’t actually anything Virginia Tech related. Couldn’t do it even as a backup gift.
This combines two cool things… hip hop and science! It’s got some nice old school artists and interesting graphics.
Shhh! This place is a cool spot for picking up craft brews. Just a little ride out from Falls Church. It is basically a warehouse, but they have a cult following.
I have recently been listening to some old 90s hip hop, so when I saw this I was intrigued. Plus, it is practical, too!
Combining booze with anything is A-OK, but when you mix it with music, what could go wrong?
You like to learn and be busy, right? Why not acquire some new skills and refine your mix-mastering even more?
Because we all want to see you crush Casey in the next step challenge, maybe you can up your pace as you jam to tunes this winter.
Because I love puns, I thought this was super clever and stylish. Check out the rest of the site, too. Lots of interesting stuff for pretty good prices!
OK, one more combo of music + alcohol. This is specifically hip hop + cocktails, in case you are feeling bougie and want to upgrade from Miller Lite ;>
I have no idea if you use Ableton or not, but even experienced producers raved about the content in this book. Was going to buy it, but check it out… they also offer it as a free PDF!
